The Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi was killed while three members of his family were injured when their car overturned after ramming into a divider on Yamuna Expressway this morning, police said.
Subhash Chandra Yadav (58) was travelling with his wife Pushpa Devi, daughter Shilpi and son Deepanshu when their car hit the divider and overturned on Yamuna Expressway near Lamtauri village under Surir police station, they said.
They were rushed to a hospital in Noida, where Yadav succumbed to his injuries, police said, adding that his son's condition is reportedly critical.
They were going to Agra to participate in a marriage function, police added.
