A 30-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband in Sihani Gate area of the district today.
According to the police, Sivraj, a Municipal Corporation of Delhi employee was arrested this evening in connection with the murder of his wife.
Sivraj, who according to the police was a habitual drunkard, often used to pick up fights with his family members at his home in Nandgram area.
Today, he allegedly attacked and killed his wife Usha, they said.
Sivraj was arrested soon after the murder and the body of Usha has been sent for post mortem examination.
