McNally Bharat's SPV bags USD 315 mn contract in Oman

Engineering firm McNally Bharat Engineering Company today said its 50:50 SPV with Oman's EMC Group has bagged a USD 315 million (around Rs 2,048 crore) contract from Sohar Bitumen LLC for their Bitumen Refinery.

In a BSE filing, McNally Bharat Engineering Company said its "50:50 SPV with EMC Group in Muscat received a contract for construction, detailed engineering, construction supervision, mechanical commissioning and supply for a value of USD 315 million (Rs 2,048 crore approximately) from Sohar Bitumen LLC in Oman for their Bitumen Refinery in Sohar, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman."

"The share of MBE in the said order shall be USD 157 million (Rs 1,024 crore approximately). The delivery period of the project is 24 months from the date of receipt of advance from the customer."
 

Shares of McNally Bharat Engineering were marginally down at Rs 97.50 apiece on the BSE at 1115 hrs.
