being stabbed to death, allegedly by a meat seller in Jorhat town of upper Assam today.
Police said the person, whose name was not yet known, had gone to the meat shop of one Suresh Kumar as Station Bazaar locality of Jorhat this morning.
The two had a heated argument over some matter and Kumar stabbed the person with a sharp weapon killing him on the spot.
The assailant has been taken into custody and police are interrogating him.
