Yesteryear actress Geeta Kapoor, who was abandoned by her son at a hospital more than a month ago, wants to go home.
Doctors treating Kapoor, best known for her roles in "Pakeezah" and "Razia Sultan", say the actress is heartbroken that nobody from her family has returned and constant media attention has added to her confusion.
On April 21, her son brought the 58-year-old actress to SRV Hospital in Mumbai's Goregaon to treat her fluctuating blood pressure. He left the hospital on the pretext of withdrawing money from an ATM and never returned.

Two Bollywood producers, Ramesh Taurani and Ashoke Pandit had come forward to help Kapoor with her medical bills.
Pandit has said that he is looking for an old-age home for the actress.
According to Tripathi, the actress is ready to be discharged but has nowhere to go.
"The problem is, who is going to take her? We are a third party. Ashoke Pandit is trying to contact some old-age homes, we are also trying for NGOs. We are treating her for one-and-a -half-month, food, medicines, hospital stay. She is better, we can discharge her anytime as long as she has a place to go."
The doctor says when she came to the hospital, she was bedridden and "hadn't even eaten proper food, her BP was a problem and even her mental condition wasn't good, so we had arranged for a psychiatrist."
Even now, Tripathi says, the actress believes that her son is going to come back for her.
"She was there when he left her. So that's all she remembers and says, he is going to come back with money. It's a very tragic story... The most surprising thing is that despite the media attention, not a single relative has turned up.
