Medical aspirant from Bihar hangs self in Kota

A 16-year-old medical aspirant from Bihar allegedly committed suicide here, police said today.

Sneha Suman (16) from Khagariya in Bihar was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room, Sub-inspector Ramswroop Meena said.

She was preparing for NEET from one of the premier coaching institutes of the city.

Her friends informed the warden when she did not turn up at the mess for the dinner last night. She was found hanging in the hostel room.

However, no suicide note has been recovered, Meena said.

The parents of the deceased student have been informed, Meena said, adding that the postmortem would be carried out after the arrival of family members.
 

12 students have committed suicide since January in Kota city which is a major coaching hub.
