The Odisha government today submitted a compliance report in the Orissa High Court stating that in pursuant to its earlier orders, all 124 medicos of the now-defunct Sardar Rajas Medical College in Kalahandi district have been transferred to other medical colleges of the state.
An official of the state health and family welfare department, in an affidavit informed the High Court, that 109 medicos of the defunct medical college were transferred to two government-medical colleges, while remaining 15 were transferred to three private medical colleges of the state.
"The entire process of transfers were completed by December 23 last as per the directions of the High Court," the compliance report said.
