Online medical platform Medikoe today said it has launched a social health network that will allow patients and doctors to share information and stay connected.
"We have launched a pioneering social health network 'WE' to provide value-added offers on 360-degree healthcare & wellness products and services. With over 2,000-plus content pieces, more than 100 establishments, WE has already attracted thousands of users from India and abroad," Medikoe said in a release.
The new roll-out is a combination of Facebook, Quora, Pinterest and BookMyShow for healthcare and wellness. From allowing people to follow renowned doctors and physicians, sharing and liking articles, booking an appointment or health package at the click of a button to asking health-related queries, 'WE' acts like a one-stop destination for patients and doctors to stay connected with each other.

"'WE' provides an opportunity for both the patient and the doctor to speak, listen, understand and learn from one another. With this new service, we believe patients will be able to better educate themselves on health-related topics, share information with friends and book appointments," Medikoe Co-Founder Raman Shukla said.
The network will help doctors to inspire and motivate people to improve their health literacy and share experiences. This also provides us an opportunity to build a digitally connected highway connecting all stakeholders in healthcare and wellness vertical, Shukla said.
