Medium sugar prices dropped further at the Vashi wholesale market here today on heavy selling by stockists amidst weak demand from bulk consumers.
Meanwhile, small sugar ruled stable in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
Medium sugar (M-30) dropped by Rs 50/16 per quintal to Rs 2,630/2,866 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 2,680/2,882.
Small sugar (S-30) was closed unchanged at Rs 2,550/2,682 per quintal
