Medium sugar dropped at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers amid heavy supply pressure.
Elsewhere, small sugar eased further following mild offtake from millers and bulk consumers.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by 110/10 per quintal to Rs 2,242/2,392 from last Saturday's level of Rs 2,252/2,502.
Small sugar (S-30) moved down by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,132/2,222 as compared to Rs 2,132/2,226 previously.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,132/2,222 (Rs 2,132/2,226).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,242/2,392 (Rs 2,252/2,502).
