Medium sugar prices gained further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to firm demand from stockists and retailers.
While, small sugar ended mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) climbed by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 3,012/3,222 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,012/3,212.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,866/3,022.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,866/3,022 (Rs 2,872/3,001).
Medium sugar(M-30) quality: Rs 3,012/3,222 (Rs 3,012/3,212).
