Small sugar variety strengthened further on sustained demand from stockists and retail consumers.
Small sugar (S-30) firmed up by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 2,912/2,981 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 2,912/2,975.
Medium sugar (M-30), however tumbled by Rs 39 per quintal to Rs 3,002/3,151 as compared to Rs 3,041/3,151.
