Medium sugar prices slipped at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to lower demand from stockists and bulk consumers amid ample supplies.
While, small sugar edged up owing to good demand from stockists and retailers.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 24/7 per quintal to Rs 3,282/3,385 from last Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,306/3,392.
Small sugar (S-30) edged up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,246/3,312 as against to Rs 3,246/3,310 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,246/3,312 (Rs 3,246/3,310).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,282/3,385 (Rs 3,306/3,392).
