Officials of Assam industries & commerce department and Invest India, a national investment promotion and facilitation agency, today discussed issues relating to formulating a new start up policy of the state.
The meeting focused on agri-sector and state-owned incubation centres in the backdrop of the Startup India programme of the union Government, an official release said.
The meeting was conducted by Commissioner, Industries and Commerce, Dr K K Dwivedi to formulate a startup policy for the state.

Dr Dwivedi said that an MoU would be signed very soon to set up a Startup Innovation Centre which would provide training, mentoring, handholding support to startup companies.
