A meeting will be held on Friday to sort out issues between tourist taxi drivers and those of the app-based government-backed Goa Miles, chief minister Pramod Sawant said.
He held a meeting on Tuesday with tourist taxi operators.
Tourist taxi drivers have been opposing Goa Miles, backed by the Goa Tourism Corporation, and have been demanding that it be scrapped.
Sawant said there was no question of scrapping Goa Miles and claimed Friday's meeting would ensure issues are sorted out between the two groups.
Waste Management minister Michael Lobo, who attended the meeting on Tuesday, said tourist taxi operators should ensure transparency in fares as there were complaints from tourists of overcharging.
