"Meeting people's aspirations and developmental needs was the top priority of the government. A number of new projects have been initiated in every corner of the state to meet the development needs of the people," Bhalla said while addressing a gathering here.
Government has already prepared locality-to-locality comprehensive plans to fulfill the development requirements of the people across the state, he said, adding that people's cooperation was imperative for the purpose.
There is no constraint of funds in providing all basic amenities to people at their doorsteps like safe drinking water, electricity, education, road connectivity besides lanes and drainage system.
The minister said the government was fully aware of people's hardships and it was making all out efforts to mitigate the same on priority basis.
He stressed upon the officers to maintain accountability and transparency in utilisation of funds available under various centrally and state sponsored schemes for better infrastructural development of the state.
