The Budget session of Meghalaya Assembly will start tomorrow with the customary address by Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will present the budget on March 15 and the session will end on March 24, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly commissioner Andrew Simons said.
Mukul Sangma is also set to become the second chief minister to complete a full term since the state was carved out, the first being State Planning Board chairman S C Marak in the 1990s.

The budget session which ends on March 24 next, is significant in view of the state preparing to go to poll early next year.
