Meghalaya swept up all but one of the gold medals on offer at the table tennis tournament for North East juniors here today, with Manipur denying them a clean sweep in the boys singles final.
Five states (Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Sikkim) took part in the test event at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Sports Hall, which acted as a prelude to next month's 12th South Asian Games 2016.
All the mixed doubles matches were held on Saturday, with Meghalaya's Tanushree Das Gupta and Suranjit Dey reaching the final along with Camelia Diengdoh and Bibek Das.
