Meghan Markle's wedding gown desgined by an acclaimed British designer Clare Waight Keller had a selection of flora, including an Indian Lotus, in her veil as she walked down flower-bedecked nave of the iconic St George's Chapel today.
The veil of Meghan's boat-necked, sculpted white dressgown represented the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition, Kensington Palace said in a statement.
Meghan, 36, wore the dress designed by the acclaimed British designer, Clare Waight Keller, the Palace said.
Keller last year became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy, the statement said.
Meghan expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition, it said.

India's Lotus, Pakistan's Jasmine and Bangladesh's White Water Lily were part of Meghan's five-metres long silk tulle veil which had selection of flora distinctive from every member state of the Commonwealth.
The veil is held in place by Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Meghan by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the entre brooch dating from 1893.
Meghan wore earrings and bracelet made by Cartier.
The veil is made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza.
Meghan's bouquet included Forget-Me-Nots which were Diana, Princess of Wales' favourite flower. The couple specifically chose them to be included in Meghan's bouquet to honour the memory of the late Princess on this special day, the statement said.
Prince Harry handpicked several flowers yesterday from their private garden at Kensington Palace to add to the bespoke bridal bouquet designed by florist Philippa Craddock.
Harry, 33, and the Duke of Cambridge wore the frockfoat uniform of the Blues and Royals, it said.
The Queen gave her permission for Prince Harry to get married in his uniform, it said.
Both uniforms were tailored at Dege & Skinner on Savile Row.

The six young Bridesmaids were all dressed in Givenchy Haute Couture by Clare Waight Keller.
Their high-waisted dresses were made of ivory silk radzimir with puffed sleeves and double silk ribbon bows at the back. Pockets and pleated skirts were chosen to give the dresses a relaxed silhouette.
In a press release from the Palace, the dresses were "designed to have the same timeless purity as Meghan's dress."
The girls' shoes were by one of Meghan's favourite footwear designers, Aquazurra, each pair monogrammed with the bridesmaids' initials and the wedding datea gift to the children from Meghan as a keepsake.
