Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today handed over authorisation letters of 'CM Scooty Scheme' for college-going girls to 12 Kashmiri Pandit students here.
The chief minister, during her visit to the Jagti township in February, had promised to give scooties to the deserving meritorious girl students of the Kashmiri Pandit community.
After identifiying the meritorious students, 15 were chosen.
The chief minister handed over the authorisation letters to the 12 girls and the other three, who were not present, would be given the letters later.
