Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today called for making FM radio stations a platform for the youth of the state to air their ideas and grievances.
She was speaking at the launch of a private radio station here.
Mufti said the problem with the youth here was not only unemployment but also their general well-being. She hoped the medium would not only be a source of entertainment but also deal with problems of youngsters.
"We have so much talent in the state. A lot of musical bands are active in Jammu and Srinagar. The radio stations can play a important role in empowering them," she said.
