More than three months after the demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, PDP president and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today reconstituted the party set-up, nominating new office-bearers including one vice president.

"While Rangil Singh has been nominated as the new vice president of the party, senior leaders Sartaj Madni, Nizam-ud-din Bhat and Mehboob Iqbal have been named general secretaries," party spokesman said here tonight.

Mehbooba also named Vijaya Dogra Katoch as the new president of the women's wing while Waheed Parra will continue as youth president, he said.

Aijaz Mir and Yawar Mir, the two young faces of the party, have been nominated as general secretaries of the youth wing, he said.

The PDP chief had dissolved the party a day before taking oath as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on April 4.

This is the first shake-up in the party since the sudden demise of Mufti Sayeed on January 7.
