Cox and Kings-owned Meininger Hotels today said it has signed an agreement with LGIM Real Assets (Legal and General) for a hotel in Glasgow, Scotland.
The hotel, located on the West George Street opposite Queen Street Train Station, will offer 160 rooms and 590 beds and is scheduled to open in 2020, a release issued here said.
The new property will be the second hotel for the Meininger group in the UK, as it already operates a hotel in London since 2006. *************************** OLX launches initiative to promote online safety *

French television brand Thomson is re-entering the Indian market in April through the online channel.
Thomson will reinvest India through a local partner with a range of smart TVs in April and the brand will have an exclusive alliance with a local licensee.
"India is a very promising market... With our range of Smart TVs, we want to give this consumer a top-of-the-line product at an aggressive price; which is currently missing.
