Singer Mel B has revealed that she is recording a new music album.

The 38-year star, who will serve as a judge on ITV's new dance show 'Stepping Out', also revealed that she is meeting with fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell about the possibility of collaborating on a track, reported Digital Spy.

"I just recorded three hot, hot new singles. I've been recording on and off all year - the same as Geri. I don't know if we will collaborate but we're having dinner on Saturday night so we are going to be talking about that," she said.

Mel B has released two solo albums - Hot in 2000 and LA State Of Mind in 2005 - and scored five top 40 hits including 'I Want You Back', 'Word Up', 'Tell me' and 'Feels So Good'.

In 2011 the star joined the judging panel of 'The X Factor' and recently replaced Sharon Osbourne on 'America's Got Talent'.
