The book, 'Strokes on Law and Democracy (An Eye Witness)', authored by noted writer, academician and Supreme Court advocate Janak Raj Jai, was unveiled on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.
The book contains Jai's personal experiences while he was working for two of India's most revered Prime Ministers as well as anecdotes from their lives.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Reddi praised Jai by saying "In these days when only fundamental rights are asserted and fundamental duties are conveniently forgotten, Janak Raj Jai shines for respecting fundamental duties as well".
Others who were present at the event included, Delhi High Court judge Justice Kailash Gambhir, senior advocate P P Rao and members of the legal fraternity.
