A pair of tusk was seized today from two men at Jaldapara forest in West Bengal, forest officials said.

Two tribal youths were caught by forest guards when they were digging out the tusks. On seeing the patrol team, they tried to flee with the tusks but were caught.

The tusks could be of the elephant whose beheaded carcass was found late last month in the area, the officials said.
