Men robbed at gunpoint in Faridabad

A man, resident of village Heerapur in Ballabgarh, was robbed at the gunpoint while on his way back home from Faridabad.

The victim has been identified as Brijbhushan. He has said in his complaint that the incident occurred on 16th June when he was from Faridabad. On reaching near his village he met three men on a scooty and a motorcycle, police said.

The culprits asked him to give his mobile, to which he refused. On refusal one of the accused put a pistol on victim's temple and asked to give out all the cash and phone he is carrying, they said.
 

His phone, wallet containing Rs 9000 and his motorcycle were taken by these men, police added.

On the basis of his complaint a case has been registered at Police Station Chainsa under section 392 of IPC (punishment for robbery) and sections 25, 54 and 59 of Arms Act.

Police have started investigations in the case, said the investigating officer ASI Samaysingh.
