In a study by a UK-based menswear retailer, 23 per cent men have admitted they get their teeth whitened, while 16 per cent opt for a fake tan to prepare for their wedding day.
Forty-nine per cent men spend their cash on a haircut for the wedding while 37 per cent get a professional razor shave done, the Daily Mail reported.
Some 11 per cent men go for waxing and six per cent even go to the length of getting plastic surgery done including lipo and nose job.
Around six per cent men get their eyebrows plucked to appear well groomed, and five per cent go for a manicure or pedicure.
Money is no issue for men as five per cent confessed to having paid a 1,000 pounds grooming bill with eight per cent of romantic husbands-to-be preparing for the first dance with the bride by paying for professional lessons.
"It is no longer embarrassing or uncommon for men to spend time and money on grooming, clothes or pampering treatments," Martin Roberts, Jacamo's spokesperson, said.
Twelve per cent of men were not such enthusiasts as they accepted not making any extra effort for their wedding.
