Mentally challenged boy drowns

A 16-year-old mentally challenged boy today drowned in a stream in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir, police said.

Aamir Rasool, a resident of Kurhama village, fell into the stream near his house and was rescued in a critical condition by local residents, police said.

He said the boy was taken to hospital but was declared brought dead.
