A mentally-challenged man in Kheri district today hacked his 4-year-old nephew to death and attacked his sister-in-law, before ending his life by consuming some poisonous substance.
The incident took place in Narang village of the district, police said.
Kailash Kewat was said to be mentally unstable. He first killed his nephew Vivek and later attacked his sister-in-law with a sharp-edged weapon, leaving her grievously injured, they said.
Kailash then consumed some poisonous substance and later died, police said.
