A 19-year-old mentally- challenged youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Kota village in the district, police said today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dehat, Jagdish Sharma said that Sonu was found hanging from a tree in the village garden falling under Nagal police station.
Sonu, who was an electrician, committed suicide due to his mental illness, he added.
His body was recovered and has been sent for post-mortem, Sharma said, adding the matter is being investigated.
