A 35-year-old woman, believed to be mentally unsound, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her home in the district, police said.
Sangita committed suicide at her residence in Khatoli town yesterday, they said, adding that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
A probe has been launched.
