Amid profit-booking by speculators and subdued spot demand, mentha oil prices fell by 0.26 per cent to Rs 964.60 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery this month fell Rs 2.60, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 964.60 per kg, with a business volume of 92 lots.
Also, mentha oil for May delivery drifted by 0.80 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 977 per kg, with a business turnover of 25 lots.
The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand.
