Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid profit-booking by speculators and subdued spot demand, mentha oil prices fell by 0.30 per cent to Rs 868.70 per kg in futures trade today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in May fell Rs 2.60, or 0.30 per cent, to Rs 868.70 per kg, with a business volume of 179 lots.

Also, mentha oil for June delivery drifted by Rs 1.30, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 870 per kg, with a business turnover of 22 lots.

The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand.
