Continuing its winning run for the fourth day, mentha oil prices rose further by 0.37 per cent to Rs 980.90 per kg in futures trade today as participants engaged in widening their bets, tracking a firm trend at spot market on rising demand from consuming industries.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha for delivery in November month went up by Rs 3.60, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 980.90 per kg in business turnover of 140 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in December month contracts edged up by Rs 2.30, or 0.23 per cent to Rs 988 per kg in 42 lots.
