Mentha oil prices fell 0.42%, to Rs 938.60 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits amid subdued spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in current month fell by Rs 4 or 0.42% to Rs 938.60 per kg with a business volume of 310 lots.

Similarly, mentha oil for March month delivery traded down by Rs 3.30 or 0.34% to Rs 951 per kg with a business turnover of 406 lots.

The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand, marketmen said.
