Mentha oil fell by another 0.51% to Rs 964.80 per kg in futures market today largely in tandem with a weak trend at spot markets on subdued demand.
Besides, higher arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh influenced mentha oil.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in July fell by Rs 3.70, or 0.51%, to Rs 764.80 per kg in business turnover of 430 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June traded lower by Rs 2.40, or 0.32%, to Rs 748.60 per kg in 251 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators in the spot market on lower demand from consuming industries mainly kept pressure on mentha oil prices in futures trade.
