Mentha oil prices were trading

further higher by 3.13 per cent to Rs 1,394.60 per kg in futures market today after participants raised bets on rise in demand from consuming industries at the spot markets against restricted arrivals from producing regions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in May was higher by Rs 42.30, or 3.13 per cent, to Rs 1,394.60 per kg, clocking a business volume of 395 lots.

The oil for June delivery was trading higher by Rs 12.30, or 1.01 per cent to Rs 1,227 per kg, with a trading volume of 230 lots.
