Mentha oil prices fell further by Rs 5 per kg at the chemical market in the national capital today due to easing demand from consuming industries.
However, other chemicals continued to trade in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged at the last levels.
Marketmen said fall in demand from consuming industries against ample stocks position mainly kept pressure on mentha oil prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices eased further by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,165, Rs 1,125 and Rs 1,045 per kg, respectively.
