Road toll management company MEP Infrastructure Developers today said it has bagged a one year toll collection contract in Jharkhand from NHAI.
"MEP has bagged a contract for short-term toll collection at Pungad plaza project in Jharkhand for a period of one year," the company said in a statement.
The company has received the letter of acceptance for the same and the concession fee payable to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the project is Rs 56.61 crore on a weekly basis, it stated.
Prior to this project, the company had added 10 short-term toll collection projects by NHAI and Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan during this financial year with a sum of Rs 517.6 crore payable as concession fees.
