Mercury continued its gradual downward dive in the national capital which experienced chilly conditions today.
The minimum temperature dipped from yesterday's 8.5 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
The maximum temperature, however, rose from 26 degrees Celsius to a comfortable 26.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, Met officials said.

"The sky will remain mainly clear tomorrow. There will be mist and shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 27 degrees and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official said.
