Mercury inching down

It was a pleasant morning today with clear skies while mercury has been inching down, hinting that the winter was now knocking at the door.

The minimum temperature settled at about 22.2 degree Celsius, three degrees down from yesterday.

According to MeT department, humidity level was recorded at 65 per cent till 8.30 AM.

An official of the department said that minimum temperature was still one notch above normal.

"There would be partly cloudy sky and maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degree Celsius," he added.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at at 35.2 degrees Celsius, while minimum was recorded at 24.9 degrees Celsius.
