Mercury remains below 40 deg-mark, high humidity plays spoiler

Mercury remained below the 40 degree-mark in the national capital today where high humidity played spoiler to the weekend spirit.

The maximum temperature was two degrees below normal at 38.5 deg C, marginally up from from yesterday's 38.0 deg C.

The minimum temperature settled at 26.6 deg C, one degree below normal and slightly below previous day's 26.7 deg C.

The maximum and minimum humidity were recorded at 79 per cent and 46 per cent, respectively.

The Weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow while the the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 40 deg C and 28 deg C, respectively.
