Mercury rises after cold morning

The maximum temperature in the national capital scaled up after a cold start to the day today, before settling at 28 degrees Celsius.

"The maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, while the minimum settled at 10.1 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal," a MeT official said.

Humidity levels oscillated between 91 and 35 per cent.

Weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow with maximum temperature expected to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature yesterday settled at 12.3 degrees Celsius while maximum was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius.
