Mercury rises as rains elude Delhi

The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.9 degree Celsius, three degrees above normal and minimum at 27.4 degrees, two notches above normal, MeT department said.

For the past few days, the city has been witnessing rise in temperature.

The humidity level was also high and it oscillated between 54 and 91 per cent.

There was o rainfall but weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow, with possibility of light rains or thundery developments in some parts of the city.

The maximum and minimum is likely to be around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius.
