Mercury rises in Delhi, max temp at 29.4 degrees C

The mercury levels shot up in the national capital today with the maximum temperature settling at 29.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.

"The minimum temperature was recorded at 14.6 degrees while the maximum settled at 29.4 degrees Celsius, both three notches above normal," a MeT official said.

Humidity levels oscillated between 71 and 32 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow.

"Skies are expected to remain clear during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 29 degrees Celsius," the official said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 28.6 degrees and 10.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
