Mercury rises on sunny day in Delhi

It was a relatively hot day in the national capital with the maximum temperature settling at 38.3 degree Celsius today after several days of mild whether.

Although the day temperature was still one notch below normal, bright sunshine made stepping out of home difficult for Delhiites.

Earlier, the minimum temperature settled at 24 degree Celsius, which was two notches below normal.

Yesterday the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.9 degree Celsius, while the minimum settled at 24.4 degree Celsius.

Humidity levels oscillated between 22 and 70 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky tomorrow with the maximum and minimum temperature expected to settle around 39 and 25 degree Celsius.
