Mercury up at 43 degree Celsius in parts of MP

As many as six cities including Khajuraho, Guna and Rewa recorded 43 degrees Celsius yesterday.

Gwalior recorded a maximum temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius, while Jabalpur recorded 42 degree Celsius, Met sources said.

Hot winds took the temperature in Bhopal to 41.4 degree Celsius and in Indore to 40.8 degree Celsius.

Barring a few places in eastern Madhya Pradesh where a trough is passing over, remaining parts of the state experienced hot weather.
