Metro Rail services between two stations here were briefly stopped after an under construction private building caved in near another station.
Services resumed today between Palarivattom and Maharajas stations after track experts certified that the structural stability of metro was not affected after the cave in last night during piling near Kaloor station.
A Kochi Metro Rail Limited spokesperson said services to Maharajas station resumed after their assessment and that a trial run without passengers was successfully completed.
The services between Aluva and Palarivattom continued to be unaffected, she said.

No casualty was reported in the incident, district administration officials said.
Meanwhile, Ernakulam District Collector Mohammed Y Safirulla constituted an expert panel to study reasons for the cave in and said steps would be taken to strengthen buildings and infrastructure like Metro pillars based on the report to be submitted by it.
Road traffic in the route will be resumed only after strengthening the buildings and infrastructure in the neighbourhood of this building, officials said.
