MFCS aims to have 100 workshops by the end of current fiscal

Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), the multi-brand car service division of the Mahindra Group, plans to have over 100 workshops in the country by the end of the current fiscal.

The firm, which currently operates a total of 28 company owned company operated (COCO) workshops across the country, is looking to expand presence in various regions, including Punjab and Karnataka, achieve the desired growth.

"MFCS is also actively exploring newer regions like Chandigarh and Amritsar, Patiala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana in Punjab along with Mumbai, Pune Delhi NCR and Karnataka to achieve the target of 100 plus workshops by the end of this fiscal," the company said in a statement.
 

MFCs said it has also appointed ten additional franchisee workshops in the Chennai cluster which are all set to commence operations in the next three months.

"This will enable us to enhance the scale and depth of our operations, allowing us to reach a greater number of potential customers and most importantly, provide us with economies of scale," MFCS CEO Vijay Kumar said.

With 28 operational COCOs serving over 1,80,000 customers, MFCS believes that it has a very strong proposition for the franchisee as well.

"The company offers a simplified business model in multi- brand car servicing with robust supply chain for spare parts through its cluster warehouse," it added.
